What was the highlight of The Regency Hotel
Pleasant
The Staff and food were Amazing.
This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in! On our first night we were given a dirty room with 2 performers singing directly beneth us. Loud music under your bedroom until late at night. We were moved to a different room the following morning which was on the other side of the hotel and recently refurbished. I understand people meet up but a duet performing under your room the first night, once they'd finished the air con noise kicked in. Just our luck on the second night there was a large gathering in the garden, which our room backed onto. Another very loud night. Went home for some sleep.

Staff excellent, environment very tired but being improved, evening meal of sea bass grim.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The property is in the process of being refurbished and certainly needs it.

Location and price. Bar staff are friendly and helpful
i could clearly hear the band playing on Monday night in my room on the 2nd floor until they finished at around 1030. On the same night the fire alarm sounded at 5am, it only sounded 3 times before it was reset and there was no evacuation so it must have been a faulse alarm.

Friday night
The location was very near to the function I was attending. And for a Friday night, the price was OK.
Bath had stains in it. Shower curtain was loose and date, needs a shower screen. Taps in bathroom sinc turned the opposite way. Hair on the floor in bedroom. No biscuits with room refreshments.
